Colin “Cojo the Art Juggernaut” Jorgensen is a New York City–trained Creative Director, Designer, and Fine Artist whose career spans more than three decades across the worlds of advertising, branding, new media, and fine art.
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (NYC) with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising & Marketing, Cojo studied under creative legends Gail Anderson, Tony Palladino, Stacy Drummond, Chris McCormick, and Richard Wilde. His early foundation in conceptual design, typography, and visual storytelling became the throughline connecting his commercial, editorial, and fine art work.
Cojo began his creative journey as a Marvel Comics intern at age 15. at 16 began hand-coloring Fantastic Four and The Punisher with Dr. Martens Dyes and Pantone Tria Markers and color coding by eye. He went on to become one of the first digital colorists at Atomic Paintbrush, the East Coast’s first computer-based comic coloring studio. His mastery of color earned him a perfect score on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test (Perfect color acuity), a distinction that continues to define his aesthetic precision.
Over the years, Cojo’s creative direction and visual design have shaped campaigns for Nike, MTV, AT&T, FUBU, ESPN, AOL, Viacom, WWE, Maxim, and Complex Magazine — as well as independent brands, music labels, and cultural movements. His portfolio includes logo and identity systems for MTV Spring Break ’99, Roosevelt University’s Lakers Athletics, AOL’s Fleaflicker Fantasy Sports App, Benzino’s Surrender Records, and Respect Management, among others.
As Creative Director at Appelago Cojo co-created Dynamic Push®, a storytelling-driven mobile content system blending design, motion, and digital engagement with animated redirecting push notifications that can be sent remotely to android users phone or tablet home screens.
 As Director of New Media at FTX Global / FasTrax Solutions, he led video, podcast, and campaign strategy for national marketing initiatives. Later, as Director of Marketing at Mystic Timber, he revitalized the brand’s legacy through art direction, photography, logo design, audio branding, and product storytelling, establishing a global following in the artisan and cannabis accessory space.
Now based in Northwest Arkansas, Cojo serves as a bridge between fine art and brand strategy — bringing big-city creative leadership to the growing design and marketing ecosystem of Bentonville, Rogers, and Fayetteville. His creative philosophy is rooted in authenticity, emotional storytelling, and the belief that design should move people, not just markets.
A second-generation artist, Cojo was born into a creative household: his father was a syndicated political cartoonist and commercial artist, and his mother enjoyed a storied career as an art director for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Their combined influence instilled in him a lifelong respect for craftsmanship, originality, and the power of visual communication — values that continue to guide both his art and his leadership today.
Cojo’s fine art has been exhibited in NEW YORK CITY at Castle Fitzjohns Gallery , Webster Hall, and Times Square, and is currently represented by Art on the Square Gallery (Bentonville) and Natural State Gallery (Gentry).
From conceptual strategy to final execution, Cojo leads with imagination, intuition, and insight — creating work that’s not just seen, but felt.
He is currently working at MAKR Studio. In his spare time he draws, and comes up with million dollar ideas. he's currently  working on several books: One about audio branding for the modern era. One about brainstorming with AI, and one about the final days of the human workforce.
